We are now 20 March 2024, and AJD's migration time is nearing. We are watching and photographing him each day, and he is piling on the weigh ready for the long flight ahead. This morning, in the early morning sunlight, he looked just splendid - see below. High tide, or an hour before if the tide is high (as from Saturday), is the best time for viewing. I expect AJD to migrate over the weekend, or Monday. He usually leaves around 5 pm.
