We are just one week away from the expected departure date of our famous local godwit - AJD. This will be his 18th migration that we know of, on, or close to, 25 March.
I'll attach suggested times for viewing the godwits over the next week, for those who live local. The picture below is from this morning, AJD looking brilliant in the morning sun.
We plan a 'Farewell to the Godwits' event on 25 March, from 4 pm, at the Sailing Club area.
I'll post update here as the migration time nears.
