In a change on writing about all the birds, this new planned book, by change, is just about one bird - a Bar-tailed Godwit, who carries the flag AJD. I have followed this bird for 13 years and spent so much time with him that he seems like an old friend. The story will be based on our Whanganui Estuary, but will also include some general information about Godwits. Publication date is not settled, but likely I will wait for AJD's return from migration this summer of 2021.
